The oldest dog sled race in the lower 48! the first sled dogs will leave the gate each morning starting at 8:30 a.m. and every 2 minutes after that. We are expecting 25-30 teams of dogs this year, ranging in size from 2 dogs teams to 12. Races begin in Ashton; they make a big loop to the east and finish back at the start.
To get here, take highway 20 to Ashton, turn east and watch for signs. We suggest that you leave the cat at home, but bring the whole family including the dog.
Because weather conditions can change, the location of the starting gate may be adjusted accordingly. As always, for more information and updates check our website: americandogderby.com.

Education is a key factor in the rehabilitation of inmates and their ability to achieve success after their release. The libraries in the correctional institutes both adult and juvenile in Idaho are lacking books and the Juvenile Justice Centers have not rotated their multiple libraries in a long time. Fresh books, nonfiction, fiction and educational are very much appreciated.
Please remember no spiral bindings and appropriate themes such as no sexual content whatsoever for the juvenile facilities and anime must be clean. Also remember that any material that has themes such as breaking out of prison, prison riots, making weapons or distilleries in prison, etc are not acceptable. They do prefer paperback books but they can accept some hardcover books.
