The open house will be held at Blackfoot Charter School, 92 N 415 W, Blackfoot, ID on January 19, 2023.
Blackfoot Charter is a tuition-free, K-8 public charter school in Blackfoot, Idaho. Blackfoot Charter is a STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) school with a focus on real-world skill development as well as fostering a culture of positivity and kindness. The Long Night is an event where participants run, hike, walk, etc. 4.167 miles each hour beginning at 8:00pm on Jan 20 and continuing at the top of the hour each hour until 8:00am on Jan 21. Participants can complete all 12 hours, or come for 1, 2 or however many hours suit them. The goal is that no one runs alone during the long dark night.
The event is free, however, we attempt to raise as much money as we can for a local non-profit, Coming Home, Incorporated. Coming Home, Incorporated provides assistance to veterans and their families to ensure that they don’t feel alone. Their support includes cleaning, grocery shopping, monthly gatherings and more.
Join us for a spectacular bonfire and fireworks display. Music, vendors, food and fun. Free hot chocolate, free cookies, free Chick-fil-A sandwiches, prizes and giveaways. Bring your live, undecorated tree over until the day of the event and throw it on the pile.
Dinner Fundraiser chili and baked potato included. Bake sale. 3 point shoot-out competition. Live music.

Fundraiser to help rebuild the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mud Lake Idaho after it caught fire in July 2021 when lightning hit a tree in the vicinity and spread to some wires attached to a propane tank inside.

February’s Art Stroll features artist and poet Phil Murdock, classical singer Princess Evans, performances from Rexburg Arts Musical Theatre Classes, a free Valentine’s pop-up craft, and karaoke! Concessions are also available.
