Come join us on December 7th to celebrate your Idaho Museum of Natural History’s 85th year revealing the wonder of nature in Idaho.
We have a full day of free programs including:
– From 9 a.m. to Noon we will be creating ornaments from natural materials. We’ll help you make Rudolph from pinecones, pine cone bird feeders, and stick snowflakes. This is a family friendly event in our Discovery room.
– At 10 a.m. join us for a ribbon-cutting to our newly renovated STEM Center. The center will be a place for the community to create, design, and build with robotics, 3D printing and more.
– At 7 p.m. we are hosting a Dungeons & Dragons night. This will be a free event for adults (18+). Registration is required due to limited space. No experience necessary. You are welcome to bring your own D&D supplies. We will provide randomly generated 5e character sheets (5th Level) and dice. The gallery will be open with half-off admission. Come see the “Buzzsaw Sharks of Idaho” exhibition before it swims away in January!

Parking is free on Saturdays.
