This month’s family fun day is all about Sharks! Join us to celebrate the Summer of Sharks by making a shark mobile, create an original art piece with coloring sheets, and learning fun and interesting facts of both living and extinct sharks.
Dr. Curt Anderson, from the Idaho State Biology Department, will be dissecting a shark and will teach you the interesting features of shark anatomy. Time of dissection TBD.
Jesse Pruitt, Idaho Virtualization Laboratory Manager, will have 3D printed sharks on display and will discuss the 3D printing process.
This a free, family-friendly event in our Discovery Room and on the steps of the Museum.
In honor of Summer of Sharks, we will be offering $7 Family Admission* all day!
Parking is free on Saturdays.
*Up to 2 Adults and 4 Children each additional child will be $2.
