KFTZ-FM Morning On-Air – Full-Time

Riverbend Communications is looking for a culture hunter to be the next voice & face of Top-40/CHR radio on Z103! This is not your typical radio morning show! Bring your energy and excitement to life on-air and through social media as this role requires fresh daily content creation and an abundance of public appearances daily and weekly! Responsibilities:

  • Host a unique LIVE on-air show Monday-Friday
  • Dedicate time each day developing show preparations
  • Create, write, voice, record, and produce audio on a daily basis
  • Participate in rehearsals, recording sessions, programming, and personal focus meetings
  • Take direction and execute the plan of the station’s brand with a positive disposition in association with colleagues and management in the company’s programming, sales, business, and management departments
  • Applicant must be social media savvy, and must be able to connect and engage with the station’s target audience by keeping up with relevant trends and pop culture.
  • Entertain and inform the listening audience both on the air on social media platforms and the website through a daily minimum of social media and website posts
  • Commercial voice production as needed
  • Schedule and conduct on-air interviews, attend and assist in live events and station promotions
  • Conduct live remote broadcasts and daily/weekly outside appearances
  • Assist in scheduling music logs weekly
  • Abide by all applicable employer and station training requirements and policies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years on-air experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations
  • Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels, multi-task, and handle pressure and deadlines
  • Skill in operation of control boards, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment
  • Quickly become proficient in NexGen and Adobe Audition software
  • Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting
  • Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing
