Museum of Rexburg: Home of the Teton Flood Exhibit will sponsor the
Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Exhibit featuring the Apollo Redux Exhibit, hosted at the Legacy Flight Museum from June 17 – September 30.
The Museum of Rexburg is proud to bring the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary exhibit to The Museum of Rexburg is proud to bring the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary exhibit to Rexburg, Idaho as its first stop in the Country. The exhibit has an actual piece of the console used in the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas during the Apollo 11th Moon Landing Mission. Visitors will be able experience what it would have been like to be in mission control during the mission. The second part of the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary exhibit will be located at the Museum of Rexburg. It will feature a documentary film, timeline of the mission, interactive iPad displays, and Tech through the Decades display.
Tickets for the Apollo Redux Exhibit can be purchased at the Legacy Flight Museum for $8 for adults and $3 for children from the ages 8-17. With the purchase of admission to the Legacy Flight Museum, visitors will receive a ticket that provides them with free admission to the Museum of Rexburg. By having these two museums in Rexburg combine efforts, it allows visitors to enjoy both museums for the price of one.
The Legacy Flight Museum is located at 400 Airport Rd, Rexburg, ID. The Museum of Rexburg: Home of the Teton Flood Exhibit, is located in the basement of the Rexburg Tabernacle located at 51 N Center Street, Rexburg, ID. Entrance is on the Northside of the building through the double doors.
