The 2019 8th annual Cady Tucker Run in the Spirit is Sat., July 20th, at 7:30 a.m. in Freeman Park, Idaho Falls. Events will kick off with a remember why we’re here moment for the shining star of this run, Cady Tucker, a great 11-year-old runner, who was killed by a diabetic driver with unmanaged blood sugar. All run proceeds are used to purchase and donate automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to local schools. The popular 5-mile relay is the first event with teams around the community of Idaho Falls competing for the podium. The 5K and 5-mile run follows, with the final event being the kids fun run. 14 AEDs have been donated to local schools to date, costing $24,409. We’re tremendously proud of that record–and would be proud to have you join us this year.
