Join us in BLANKETING our community with love, warmth, and joy this season. We are hosting this event for the local family crisis center here in Rexburg. All donated blankets will go to families in need in our community. Please bring new blankets into our Rexburg WaFd Bank and help us make a lasting difference in the lives of those around us.
Please come join Mountain View Hospital for our annual drive thru flu clinic at Erikson Family Medicine in Idaho Falls. Drive Thru to Fight the Flu will be held at all Mountain View family practice clinics throughout September and October. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to easily get the seasonal flu shot without the hassle of going into a clinic.
Big thanks to the Bingham Memorial Hospital for providing free flu shots. Come get your flu shot and visit booths from local wellness businesses.
Snake River Animal Shelter is bringing back its beloved Mutt Strut event and are aiming for a record-breaking year with your help! Participants in this event get to spend October 26, 2022, running or walking with their pets (costumes for pets and humans are encouraged but not required!) all for a great cause. This isn’t a race but a fun time to join together as a community to have fun with your pets and show your support for our community’s 501c3 rescue community.
The event will feature:
– Human & Pet Snack Break
– Costume Contest
– Pet Talent Show
– Pet Fair with vendors who can help support your pet
Your registration is a tax-deductible monetary donation to our 501c3 nonprofit that will benefit our community-based programs that help to FEED, CARE FOR, and EDUCATE people and animals in need.

Join us and shop unique handmade crafts, gifts, and goodies from local artists and crafters including some of our 4-H youth. There will also be face painting, carnival games, contests, petting zoo, chili cookoff, costume contest, family pictures, horse drawn wagon rides, sweet treats and more!

Invitational for high school marching bands to perform for each other and compete against each other. Idaho State Marching band will be performing as well.
Hillcrest baseball is hosting a city wide wiffle ball tournament Saturday the 29th. Two age bracket’s 13 and under and 14 and over. You can choose to dress up if you want, best dressed team gets a prize! $100/team proceeds go to support Hillcrest baseball.
This annual event allows individuals and families that are homeless, Veterans and community members that are on the brink of being homeless, at a high risk of being homeless, or the majority of their resources are for rent to connect with service providers with resources for housing and other needs. Hot Breakfast to be served from 9:00-11:00 a.m.. Services to include: Veteran Services, medical screenings, Flu Shots, Winter Clothing, Food, Community Resources.
