Join us in BLANKETING our community with love, warmth, and joy this season. We are hosting this event for the local family crisis center here in Rexburg. All donated blankets will go to families in need in our community. Please bring new blankets into our Rexburg WaFd Bank and help us make a lasting difference in the lives of those around us.

Mud Lake Museum’s “Candy Cane Lane” is a free multi-day, family-friendly event featuring beautifully decorated trees, Christmas decor, entertainment, and all things Christmas.
Wednesday & Thursday, Nov. 30th & Dec. 1st, the event will be open to the public from 10-6 pm. Come bid on your favorite tree and do a fun scavenger hunt.
On Friday, Dec. 2nd (3-7 pm) and Saturday, Dec. 3rd (11-3 pm), Santa will be in the house for the young and old to share their wish lists with. Soup and rolls along with other yummy goodies will also be available to purchase on these two days.
Live entertainment will also be provided for your pleasure!
Friday, Dec. 2nd from 5-7 pm, The Idaho Old Time Fiddlers will entertain us among others scheduled for the event.
A silent auction of unique trees and other remarkable items will close on Saturday at 3 pm.
All proceeds from this event will provide critical funding to the Mud Lake Historical Society and Museum and their various community projects. We are a 501-c3 non-profit organization that stays open through your generous donations.

Follow our guides from the city of Nazareth to the town of Bethlehem as you travel back in time and experience the people, the places, and the circumstances that surrounded the birth of Jesus Christ. You’ll encounter Tax Collectors, Roman Guards, Wisemen from the East, Shepherds tending their sheep, Live Camels, and Heavenly Angels. All will have the opportunity to enter a Biblical Times “Marketplace” where there will be crafts for the kids and light refreshments (all FREE). You will end your journey at a live nativity, complete with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus.
Nativities from around the world will also be on display for your families enjoyment and musical performances will be available each evening.
THIS GUIDED JOURNEY LEAVES EVERY 10 MINUTES.
THERE ARE INSIDE & OUTSIDE SCENES – PLEASE PLAN TO DRESS WARM.

(Bethlehem will be temporarily relocated to the LDS Church just south of the Idaho Falls Temple – 955 Memorial Drive. This is a free community event and ALL are welcome.)

Craft Fair; Santa will arrive at 1:30; Entertainment provided by NFHS choir; Nativity display at the Key Bank building on the corner of 5th and Main beginning at 4:00; Caroling and tree lighting at 5:00 followed by the lighted Holiday Parade at 5:30.
Come Find Santa’s Puppy, ‘Tracker’ – Saturday, December 3rd from 12:00pm to 3:00pm – Come to the Civitan Plaza (corner of Park Ave & B Street) to pick up your map card, then help Santa find Tracker! On the map card will be a list of where you can find ‘Tracker’. The businesses hide the puppy and then you come find him! Once he is found get your card marked and then off you go to find the next puppy in the next store. Once you have found the required number of “Trackers” you can turn in your card and pick up a prize at “WeeBee Toys” at 492 Shoup Ave. (corner of Shoup Ave. and B Street). Santa will be there to thank you for finding Tracker!! ‘Tracker’ is so important – he helps Santa figure out who is naughty and nice!! The puppies will be hidden in businesses all over downtown, so come prepared to walk and be outside.
