An event to connect together as a community to raise awareness for preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome, eclampsia and other related hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.. It’ll be a short, 1 mile walk to help raise awareness. As well as a short program featuring a story from a local family of how it has impacted their lives. Located at Community Park in Idaho Falls. Register online or at the time of the event.
Mountain West Equipment will be having their grand opening event on May 11, 2024. Stop in and see our wide variety of Kubota and Takeuchi tractors as well as our selection of Milwaukee tools. We will have live demonstrations, food (11 am – 2 pm), games, giveaways, door prizes, etc… Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you at our event.
“Protecting Your Family” – Will Planning Check-Up Quiz
Many people do not have a Will or Living Trust in place to provide for and protect their family. Join us for this Will Planning Workshop and we can assist you with that.
1. Do you have a Will?
2. Do you have an Advance Health Care Directive that provides the names of your designated agents, so they can make critical health care decisions if you can’t?
3. If the gross value of your estate (including your house) is over $150,000, do you have a Trust?
4. Have you legally designated who would care for your minor and adult children if you were to die?
5. Have you designated how your personal property will be distributed in a way that will minimize taxes and maximize provision for your family after your death?
6. Do you have someone authorized to handle financial matters for you in case you become disabled?
7. Do you have a plan that provides for your children carefully without “dropping” on them large sums of money?
Annual rummage sale being held on Saturday, May 18th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Proceeds to be split between Champs Heart and First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Donations of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, toys, household goods, bedding, shoes, jewelry, tools, etc. are greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off Monday 5/13 – Friday 5/17 between 9 am and 3 pm. No early sales.
