Spring Onto Broadway was created as an event for the south of Broadway businesses to come together and have combined sales and fun events in May. This event as part of creating a better community and comradery for south downtown Idaho Falls.

Come enjoy the sunshine, food vendors, sales, a bouncy house and fun for the whole family. The Big Stage is set up By Chesbro Music Co. for local school band and orchestras to play for donations for their music programs. Come support your local schools.

Walk For Wishes® is a Make-A-Wish® fundraiser that celebrates the wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. It’s a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, donors and friends.

By participating, you can help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children in your community who are battling critical illnesses. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and you can help.

WHAT: The United Way partners with Conéctate and the College of Eastern Idaho to bring resources to the Spanish-speaking community in Idaho Falls. BBSI has generously agreed to donate food for community members.

WHEN: Saturday, May 20th from 11-1

WHERE: College of Eastern Idaho, in the cafeteria

BACKGROUND: The goal of this event will be to help the community make meaningful connections to nonprofit and community-based service providers such as the Eastern Idaho Community Action Agency, the Center for Hope, the Behavioral Health Crisis Center of Eastern Idaho, Idaho Legal Aid, local school districts, and more. Spanish-speaking service providers will be on-site to answer questions and connect community members to resources. Raffle Prizes and give away items will be available.

Meet at the north parking lot at the Idaho Falls High School with your bikes ready to ride. Idaho Falls Parks and Rec will guide the group on a bike ride, showing the city’s new pathways. A BBQ will be provided after the ride. Everyone is invited, come and enjoy!!

Come party with the Titans! May 26th at 7pm, the Thunder Ridge Jazz and Percussion Ensembles are hosting a Big Band Social at the Thunder Ridge cafeteria. Tickets are $5, and refreshments will be available for purchase. Proceeds go towards the bands, so come out and enjoy a little swing! The community is excellent, the vibes are impeccable and, of course, the music is top tier. We can’t wait to see you there.

Join us for a ribbon cutting with the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce at 11 am! Afterwards, tour everything we have to offer in the shop. We’re giving away a free membership so don’t forget to enter the raffle while you’re there!

What is Factory 43? We are a non-profit community workshop (a.k.a. makerspace) in Idaho Falls, providing access to the space, equipment, and knowledge you need to bring your projects or prototypes to life. From beginners to experts, hobbyists to inventors; we serve anyone eager to create, fabricate, and innovate.

It is a Bring-Your-Own-Picnic lip sync battle and dance party! Fun for all ages! Watch others perform as you enjoy your picnic, and once their performances are complete, feel free to join the dance floor. Want to perform? Contact Kierra Crain Barnard at 208-541-0968.
