AETHER: Outdoor Adventure, Urban Exploration, and Innovative Design
AETHER Apparel was born out of the desire for clothes that looked at home in the city but could withstand the outdoors. Today, AETHER is a complete lifestyle collection for design-focused, well-traveled men and women. AETHER’s commitment to thoughtful design balances the rugged and the refined by fusing technical performance with an urban aesthetic.
In 2011, prior to opening any of its now four stores, AETHER teamed up with Paris-based designer Thierry Gaugain to create the ultimate shop on wheels in a converted, 34-foot Airstream PanAmerica. Sparing no detail, they converted the massive trailer into an on-the-go concept shop, displaying a curated selection of AETHER’s men’s and women’s offerings.
The AETHERstream’s floor is constructed from reclaimed oak, while the custom sofa and table create a comfortable lounge area. Other props and furniture were found at the Paris Flea Market. There is even a suspended wood-burning stove in the trailer, completing the cozy aesthetic.
The AETHERstream will be parked at Hotel Ketchum from July 22 to August 4.

Cake Bike demos. Take a spin on the new Cake bike, a high-performance, electric, off-road motorcycle. (Motorcycle license not required.)
